As seen during the 2025 WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE, CM Punk and AJ Lee defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. After the match, AJ stated that “it felt amazing“ to be back in a wrestling ring.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the internal reaction to AJ’s performance was very positive. Fightful noted the following…
“Those that we spoke to in WWE felt she [AJ] did really well. Becky Lynch was heavily credited for her performance. One longtime WWE name said that Lynch has helped lead so many wrestlers through matches when they’ve taken long absences, and they feel she did well.”
As previously noted, AJ’s WWE comeback is expected to be more than just a one-off performance.
