Megabonk is an action-roguelike in the style of Vampire Survivors, where players must withstand massive waves of enemy attacks. The game was created by indie developer vedinad. Megabonk was released on Steam on September 18, and since then, its popularity has been steadily growing.

According to SteamDB, on the night of October 2 to October 3, Megabonk’s peak online exceeded 88.5 thousand players. This achievement placed the game in the top 25 most popular new releases of 2025 on Steam, surpassing inZOI, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, among many other titles in terms of simultaneous users.

At the time of writing, Megabonk has a “very positive” rating on Steam, with 14.9 thousand reviews, 94% of which are positive.
