Court the coupon code
If you’re a regular shopper on Amazon, you probably already know that there are some deals that have coupons associated with them that save you some extra cash. It’s hard to find these, though, but there’s one way you can filter all deals on Amazon that have an associated coupon.
Well, we’ve done the filtering for you and you just need to head to this Amazon deals page with coupons for all the current listings.
You’ll find all sorts of discounts here, from vacuum cleaners to the little microSD card. Like all of Amazon’s deals, you can filter the coupon landing page as well to whittle down to categories to make finding items easier. If you can’t find an offer you’re after in the standard Amazon deals landing page, you can always try the coupons.
Shield your backup data
I’ve been a massive fan of Samsung’s portable SSDs. I’ve had the 1TB T5 for a few years before upgrading to the T7 Shield to back up all my photos (I’m a photographer who occasionally shoots in RAW with a 48MP camera).
I opted for the 2TB variant because it represented better value for money when I bought it and the out covering protected the actual SSD from accidental drops (which I have a penchant of doing). It also makes the device water resistant, and thus more durable.
It’s still going strong two years on, so I haven’t yet been tempted to upgrade further to the T9, and I would absolutely recommend the T7 Shield if you need some a safe place to back up your files.
I guarantee that it’s very speedy too. You get read and write speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and 1,000 MB/s respectively, made possible by the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port.
Portable SSDs can be hefty investments, but when there’s a 56% discount, you shouldn’t ignore it.

Big Bose buys
There are quite a few Bose discounts on Amazon right now (as you can see from our list higher up on this page), but did you know that Bose has some decent deals on its own Aussie site?
The prices don’t come close to what Amazon is offering right now, but you should take advantage of our exclusive Bose coupon codes – which are unique to each user – that scores you an additional 10% off any purchase above AU$200. And given it’s Bose, pretty much everything is above AU$200.
Take a look at our dedicated Bose coupon codes, grab your unique code and head to the Bose AU site to shop (just paste the code when you’re checking out).
A nifty little gadget to have – just AU$29.99
It’s tiny, so tiny it should fit into a trouser pocket easily, let alone a bag. And it will top up any phone with a USB-C port (or a USB-C to Lightning adaptor) at least once – it is just a 5,000mAh capacity after all. And the 22.5W output means it’s not all that slow either.
This nifty little device means you’re not tangling with cables in your bag and yet you know you’ll be able to keep your phone charged until you get to the mains later in the day. It’s size alone makes it a must-have.
Throw in the 45% discount on Amazon on two of the colourways (Black and Sprout Green) and you’ve got yourself a bargain if you don’t want to carry a brick in your bag.

Listen to this AirPods 4 deal
If you’re an iPhone owner and you’re looking for the perfect headphone companion, give the AirPods Pro 4 an audition.
You can get the standard version or the one with active noise cancellation, although the latter will cost you more and only gets a 10% discount via the same listing. Not as much as the brand new AirPods Pro 3 though at AU$429!
This offer is about the former – the non-ANC version – as they’re down to AU$178.60. That’s only a 18% discount, but it’s cheaper than the AU$188 price it was in the lead up to the sale but, of course, this price is exclusive to Prime members only.
It’s still not the cheapest price, which was AU$166 earlier this year, but it’s still good value. While you’ll miss out on ANC, you’ll get some passive noise isolation, but the same excellent sound quality our tester talks about in our Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation review. They also support Spatial Audio, which works well not just for music, but for movies as well.
Ultimately, they’re a fantastic set of Apple in-ear buds at this price.

Don’t Blink! A record-low price on a security camera
You can’t put a price on your home and family’s safety, but you don’t have to spend a heck of a lot of money to set up an outdoor security system.
The Blink Outdoor 4 camera is an easy and affordable way to add smart home technology to your house, featuring a long-lasting two-year battery, wireless setup, and an included sync module that allows you to respond to visitors, receive alerts and browse footage (captured in 1080p resolution) on your phone.
It cost AU$149 for a single camera unit at launch, but Amazon has since dropped the list price to just AU$99, so it’s already cheaper than earlier this year. Throw in the Prime-exclusive 40% discount and we have a record-low price now – just AU$59 for 1-camera unit.
In fact, you can pick up a bundle pack of two or three cameras too, and they’re all heavily discounted for Prime members right now!

Suck up the savings on a AU$199 cordless vacuum
I’ve tested several vacuum cleaners – all shapes and forms – for TechRadar over the last nine years but when a colleague told me about the Dreame U20, I was a little skeptical.
Turns out it’s actually a fantastic budget-friendly option that made its way into my best cordless stick vacuum cleaner buying guide after it scored four stars in our Dreame U20 review. I mean, how often do you see a cordless vacuum selling for just AU$199?
This model isn’t listed on the official Dreame AU website, and I’ve only seen it available on Amazon, so you could be looking at very limited stock. Moreover, this offer is Prime exclusive and will not last long at all.
If you need a vacuum for those quick cleanups, even if it’s going after pet hair, you won’t regret this purchase.

Lowest-price alert: the power in a good shot
The compact camera is back and content creators should pay attention.
Canon released the PowerShot V1 in February this year, its first compact in yonks, resurrecting the nostalgia of the PowerShot G7 X series. It also bring a slew of upgrades without blowing out the price too much. Even at full price (AU$1,449), it’s well worth the investment for the budding content creator.
Featuring a larger 1.4-inch sensor for better light performance, it also has a versatile 3.1x zoom to get you closer to the action. It’s packed full of features for content creators, including 4K/60p video. We said it has “Sony-beating vlogging skills” in our Canon PowerShot V1 review and that is high praise indeed as Sony’s ZV series are some powerful vlogging snappers indeed.
Getting its biggest Amazon discount I’ve seen since its release, the Canon PowerShot V1 is well worth considering if you’re eyeing a new camera for content creations.

Alexa, is there a cheap Echo in here?
I so wanted to say you can buy a smart speaker for under AU$30, but that’s not happened this year. The Echo Pop was available for AU$29 last year, but Amazon had other plans for 2025, and the best I’ve seen this year is the compact Alexa-powered Pop go below the AU$50 mark.
It’s still affordable and is available in a few fun colours, which means it could well be a lovely Christmas gift for a family member or friend, if you don’t want one for yourself. With Alexa available at your beck and call, you’ll be able to play music, ask questions, set alarms, create shopping lists, check the weather and so much more with just a simple voice command (look, Mum, no hands!).
Amazon discounted it down to AU$47 (down from AU$79) ahead of Prime Big Deal Days and that offer is still available, making it a decent purchase for starting a smart home setup.

PSA: Amazon always leads with deals on its own devices
I don’t think I can recall a time when Amazon didn’t always follow the same formula with its Prime Day sales. The retailer always posts deals on own-brand Amazon devices ahead of the official sale dates as a kind of ‘warm up’ of sorts, and that’s what happened this time round too.
There were quite a few good discounts on some select Echo devices and Fire TV Sticks, as well as Blink and Ring cameras, but Amazon held back the Kindle deals… until now. There are more Amazon devices up for grabs and they make excellent Christmas gifts (if you’re not looking to treat yourself).
I generally shop for my Amazon devices early to beat the rush, then pick up any other big-ticket items during the official sale itself. A lot of people hold out for the big day to see if devices will go any lower, but from my experience with Prime deals, once Amazon posts a Prime-member exclusive price, it generally never goes any lower.
It’s Prime time again
Good morning, Aussie shoppers! I hope you’re fortified with plenty of caffeine and have had a hearty breakfast because you’re going to need it.
Prime Week is here! Yes, I’m calling it that because ‘Prime Big Deal Days’ is quite the mouthful and ‘Prime Day‘ just seems wrong for a sale that’s 7 days long. This sale is a fantastic opportunity for you to treat yourself to something new or get your Christmas shopping started. That’s one thing you don’t want to leave to the last minute, now, is it?
One thing to note about October’s Prime Week: I’ve covered all of Amazon’s sales right from its Australian inception and I haven’t always seen as good discounts during this time of year as I’ve seen during the July Prime sale and November’s Black Friday. So while it’s still a good opportunity to score a bargain or two, it might be worth waiting for Black Friday next month.
If you can’t wait, however, and a price looks good to you, I’d advice you pick it up in case there are stock issues later in the year. So bookmark this page and allow my team and myself to guide you through the best tech offers on Amazon right now.
