CLEVELAND, Ohio — Deion Sanders confirmed on the New Heights Podcast Monday that his son Shedeur Sanders did in fact ask the Ravens not to draft him in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, No. 141 overall.
At the time, Shedeur Sanders was in the midst of arguably the biggest draft-day tumble in NFL history after being projected by many to go in the first round, possibly as high as No. 2 to the Browns.
